Annapurna Circuit Trek

The Annapurna Circuit trek is one of the amazing walks in the world, making a complete circuit around huge Annapurna Massif in western Nepal above the lake city of Pokhara. The 230-Kilometer circuit trek of the Annapurna range is regarded as one of the top ten walking trail in the world. It offers a great insight of natural and cultural diversity of Nepal. This classic trek is very popular as well as challenging and enjoyed by trekkers from all over the world.

We begin the trip from Kathmandu, drive to the road-head at Besishahar than start to walking on the well developed mountain trail. The trek follows the famous Marsyangdi River valley passing through beautiful rice paddy field, picturesque cultural village and lush green forest under the shadow of the Annapurna and Manaslu rannge and reaches the Manang village at the elevation of 3500m. As we ascend, the valley becomes narrower, waterfalls plummet from high above, and the scenery gains a rugged alpine appearance. The trail soon leads west behind the Annapurnas and enters the Trans-Himalayan region populated by people of Tibetan origin. We can enjoy with astonishing mountain scenery, the prayer flag, Mani walls, ancient Buddhist culture and colorful monastery. Now we have the challenge to crossing the Throng La (5416m) which is the crux of this circuit and links the Marsyangdi and Kali Gandaki valley.

At the top of the pass we relish great mountain views then descend to Hindu holy Temple village of Muktinath and Jomsom. Now we follow through the world’s deepest gorge along the Kali Gandaki River between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain on each side and reach famous Gurung village of Gorepani passing hot spring on the lap of Annapurnas. Poon Hill yet another best Mountain View point is just next to Gorepani and descends to road head and arrives to beautiful lake city of Pokhara to complete this outstanding trek in Nepal.

We use local Mountain lodge called “Tea Hose” managed by local people in our trip. This region has boasts the best mountain lodge in Nepal. Our experience guide will lead you and porters will carry your belongings along the trip.
