Day 07: Trekking from Thuman to Timure (1762m), O/N community lodge

Day 10: Early morning catch a bus and pleasant drive back to Kathmandu, with wonderful memories of great journey, O/N hotel

By the title indicates “Tamang Heritage Trekking” is a cultural trekking program along the ancestral ‘Tamangi’ villages in Langtang region with beautiful scenery and Himalayan vistas. This recently developed pristine area offers enchanting journey to experience the rich culture and lifestyle of one of the most fascinating tribes of Nepal ‘Tamang’. Previously restricted area for traveler near to the Tibetan border; within the Langtang National Park is developed as a Tamang Heritage trail. The region was mostly populated by Tamang and people from Tibetan origin, whose culture and tradition are more likely to Tibetan Buddhist influence. We can observe their cultural aspects, traditional way of living, crafted dresses, traditional houses with stone roofed, cultural performances. This is a wonderful trekking with great cultural experience along the superb mountainous vista.
