Mera Peak Climbing

Mera peak climbing is probably the most popular trekking / climbing trip in Nepal. Every year several groups conquered the summit of Mera peak with great enthusiasm to be on the top of highest climbing peak in Nepal under the NMA management. This beautiful peak situated inside the Makalu Barun National Park on the edge of Khumbu- Everest region. Mera peak is the highest categorized climbing peak in Nepal with an altitude of 6476 m. / 22476 ft. is accessible to people with no significant mountaineering experience. Additionally, it offers some of the most spectacular Himalayan scenery, pristine landscape, abundant ethnic Sperpa cultural practice and high altitude lifestyle. This easy and non technical peak welcomes even those enthusiast climbers who have no previous experience and skills to high altitude climbing; But has willpower, good physical fitness and able to 6 - 7 hours of walk on significant altitude with the presence of a competent guide backed up by the team of porters. Despite being highest climbing peak of Nepal, Mera peak is technically easy to climb and attainable by non-climbers too.

This amazing climbing trip start as usual with exhilarating mountain flight to Lukla, meet the additional supporting staffs and heads towards less habitat region of Chutok. We avoid crossing the high passes on approach trip, but take the challenging yet exciting route through Mera La pass to give you different experience of the unspoiled terrain. Return trip is relatively less challenging via Mera La pass and emerge to Khothey after several days of courageous walk with a lot of great memories and proud. Since this is less habited remote journey; the trip is fully supported camping trek except couple of nights on local lodges on demand. Our experience Guide will lead the way with the support of Kitchen staffs; cook and Porter will carry the necessary stuffs including camping Tents, Kitchen ware and other belongings.
